I'M PREGNANT!!!!

 

This is so surreal for me to be posting about being pregnant. It was so shocking to see the little positive line show up on the test and at first I didnt beleive it. We have waited so long for this and we are so thrilled!

Thursday morning I have an appointment for an early ultrasound. When I went to see the fertility specialist a couple months ago he was concerned that my tubes might be blocked, so they want to make sure that this is not an ectopic pregnancy. I am trying not to worry about it too much. I think everything is fine, but better safe than sorry.

I have been keeping track of everything and writing every detail down the past few monnths, so I know that we conceived on January 9th. According to the "all knowing internet"

If I conceived on Saturday January 9th 2010 then my due date is Saturday October 2nd 2010.

17 days have passed since the conception, and I have 249 days before my due date. I am 4 weeks and 3 days into my pregnancy,and have 36 weeks to go.

Here is a picture of what our baby looks like at this point. Grant thinks this is so creepy looking and doesnt quite understand why his baby brother or sister looks so much like an alien!

There have been some changes that I have noticed lately. I havent had any morning sickness, which is awesome and I am thankful for that but I have had some really bad, horrible headaches. I did check with the doctor and it is safe for me to take Tylenol and Tylenol PM. I really try not to take it very often, and even when I do take it the headaches dont go away they just subside a little.

The other thing is that I am already having cravings. Like I said in my last post I have been craving OJ. I have also been craving Bajio and Hot Tamales! Yum!

The other thing I have noticed is I am so tired by the end of the day. I have started going to bed when Grant does, even if I lay there and watch TV for a little bit. I wake up pretty bright and cheery in the morning but by mid afternoon I am dog tired! LOL

I dont know what the deal is but I have been really craving OJ lately. Yum! I could drink a gallon a day, but I dont!

Jared's birthday!

For Jared's birthday this year we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. We love it there and it is so reasonably priced. My parents and my brother went with us and it was fun! They had never been there before and had been wanting to try it. They really liked it and it was a fun night together! This picture is of Grant sitting on the saddle that Jared was supposed to sit on while they sing to him, but he refused to!

Really late New Year's post

We had so much fun playing games together!My cute brother BJ and his girlfriend CJOMG Isnt he so cute!And sillyA boy and his Papa!!!And man does he love his MaamaMy 2 boys!Grant got really tired before midnight, but he held out!Grant thought this was so fun!Welcome 2010Oh cute!

Cruise 2010 Bahamas!

I am getting so excited! In less than a month we will be on The Majesty of the Seas!

This is our stateroom! But who really ever spends any time in the room, except to sleep?

We will be visiting the private island of Cococay! I am so stoked to take Grant here. Jared and I went 2 years ago without him and I know he will just have a blast! I plan on walking hand in hand with my hubby and my son, on this very beach! Talk about paradise!

We will also be visiting Nassau! I am sure we will go to Atlantis and see all the amazing things they have there!

I also want to walk the beach here in Nassau! And sip a fruity(nonalcoholic) drink!

And you better beleive I will be making the boys do some shopping with me in downtown Nassau!

Christmas is in the air!

At the beginning of the week we decorated our Christmas tree. So here are a few pictures from that! This first picture is the ornament I bought this year for the unborn child we are hoping and praying for. I know some may think this is a little crazy, I am pretty sure my husband does. But I dont really care, I pray that one day I can tell her that I bought this ornament for her before she was even conceived because we wanted her so bad and we already loved her before we had her. There is a story behind this hat Grant has on. On Grant's first Christmas when he was 6 months old, my Grandma gave him this cute hat. Now Grant has always had a big head but when she gave it to him it was way too big and it still is. None the less we get it out every winter and Grant loves to wear it around the house. Daddy and Grant with our decorated tree. This definitely not a tree you might see in a magazine, but I absolutely love that most of our ornaments are very heartfelt and handmade. I love our ornaments!

Tonight we went to the annual Phillips family Christmas party. It was a lot of fun! It always is!Here is sweet little Bentley dressed all cute in his sweater!Grant and his second cousin Jayden!Grant, Gavin, Hates is hiding, and KieriGrant and HayesMy sweet boy ready for SantaBentley wasnt so sure about Santa at first!But then he decided Santa was an alright guy!Man I think my boy is the CUTEST!Bentley is pretty dang cute too!Hayes was so funny, he jumped up on Santa's lap and when Santa asked him what he wanted for Christmas he pulled out a list! So funny!Grant LOVED what Santa brought him!Mom and dad were excited that he loved it so much!Buzz, Woody, and the rocket. He came home and played with it until he passed out (with Buzz and Woody in bed with him)Telling Santa thank you!Little Krewser chillin with his truck and blowing raspberries! Here is Bentley in his new jacket and hat I gave him! Doesnt he look warm!Grant holding Bentley! But Bentley is so tired he just wants to go home to bed.

We had a great night tonight and although I have not felt well lately, I am so grateful for the amazing people who surround me. I have incredible family and I love each and every one of them so much! Near or far, if we have a close relationship or not, I think of and care about every single one of you!
