Grant had silly hair day at school today. He wanted to color his hair red so thats what we did! Last night we went to dinner to celebrate Opa's 87th birthday! It is always so much fun to get together with these guys and I am so happy Opa seems to be doing much better.

Wedding of the year

Jared's dad got remarried on Saturday. They went through the Jordan River temple and then had an open house at the church. It was simple and beautiful. Here are a few pictures! Poor Craig didnt know I was taking this picture.

I am angry because I didnt feel great and I was just not really myself this day so I didnt get many photos. I would have liked to have gotten a lot more.

I am so happy for Craig because it is obvious that Christine truly makes him happy and he really deserves that! Christine is so good to Craig and it is great to watch them together.

(not to mention, she is so good with Grant and he really likes her!)

Official soccer team mom!!! GO #5

So Jared is coaching Grant's soccer team and I think he is pretty excited. He had a coach's meeting on Tuesday night and when he got home he had a team roster and uniforms in hand. Our team got stuck with this horrible neon yellow color. He asked me to be the team mom, so I am now the OFFICIAL team mom. Whatever that means. I think it just means I will be cutting up a lot of oranges in the next month or so. But I would do anything for my little soccer man.

For anybody who would like to come to any of his games, get your pen and paper out and post it on your fridge. We would love to see you at any of the games you can make it to. He plays on Thursdays and Saturdays! Games are played at Dimple Dell Rec. Center and they are outside games!

Bee's game!

Okay so now that I am private I feel like I can do anything I want on my blog and if you dont like it then you dont have to come to see it! I am going to start with cute pictures of my little love bug and Sara's bug at the Bees game!

Maama

If you know my mother you know she is such an amazing person. She is so strong and so loving. She is my very bestest friend. My mom and dad gave me such an amazing childhood and that is what I am trying to do for Grant. I strive to be like my mom. I look up to her so much and she will never know just how much I truly love her.

On top of being a wonderful mother she is an amazing grandmother! I remember one day I told my mom something that I will regret for the rest of my life, I said to her, "You will never be a grandmother to my kids, because you are not grand at all" I was young and obviously so stupid, because my mom is so looked up to and cherished by my son. He knows he is loved and he loves her right back. She truly is as GRAND as they come!
Grant always talks about his Maama. He asks EVERY single day after school if he can go to her house to have a playdate. It is so cute. And he always wants to have sleepovers. It is so neat for me to see the love and bond they share between them. It's AMAZING!

We love you so much mommy! Thank you for being a wonderful mother and an awesome Maama to my little man! You mean the world to all three of us!

A few updates...

Ok so here are the before pictures of my room. I was in the process of trying to ORGANIZE when I took these pictures, but don't be fooled, it is always this messy. Yes it is embarrassing, but that will change because it will be so much easier to keep it organized once I get it organized in my new custom cabinets!!! I went last week and picked out and designed my cabinets, and I have chosen a color for the walls. I need to pick out the carpet and then all will be set in motion! I am so excited!

My sweet little Grant is reading!!! YAY! It hasn't been easy. We have struggled a little bit, but he is getting better and he is so excited and proud of himself. And of course mommy and daddy are so proud of him too!

Some of you may know that I have been having some health problems for about the last four and a half years. But if you didn't know don't feel bad, I told very few people. In that time I have seen several Doctors, with no help. Any doctor I have seen has told me that they couldn't figure out what was wrong with me and they couldn't help me out. All the while things just kept getting worse, and they have been REALLY bad in the past 6 months or so. I had all but given up until I went to see this miracle doctor(thank you thank you thank you Kenzie) He did SEVERAL tests and I had surgery 2 weeks ago. I am feeling better than I had been and things really seem to be on the upward swing for me. I am thrilled about everything this doctor did for me and continues to do! I am waiting for one more test result that I should be getting tomorrow and then we will work on getting our lives back to normal again. Jared, Grant and I are so excited for the possibilities that have presented themselves with these changes. I am very hopeful now that our lives will be even richer than they have been!
