Kindergarten update

Grant loves Kindergarten! So much that he is upset when the weekend comes around because he doesnt get to go to school on the weekend. His teacher is so wonderful and he just loves her. He of course loves recess, and loves the center activities that they do, such as reading center, math center, etc. I am super excited to start volunteering this Friday, I am going to be volunteering in the classroom every Friday and I think it will be so much fun! This Friday we are going to be having a Teddy Bear picnic! Grant is also very excited for me to be working with his class. Grant is making new friends every day and we were very excited to to find out that there is a little girl in his class who lives directly across the street from us! This will be a great year and we are really going to make the best of it! I am so proud of my big boy!

Exessive??

I know I have posted a lot of pictures but what am I to do when I have the cutest son ever and a new nephew who is as adorable as can be! I like taking pictures and I like sharing!

Ready or not...

When I dropped Grant off for his first day of Kindergarten today I could tell he was a little bit nervous but he was also very excited. And I admit I felt the same way. I am so excited for Grant to start this new chapter and make new friends and to learn all the neat things you learn in Kindergarten. I know that he is really ready for this new chapter and I am so proud of him, he is so smart and very outgoing. He learns things quickly and makes friends quickly too. I know he will be a total ROCK STAR in Kindergarten just like he is at everything else he does!

I know he is ready, but am I???

Well ready or not, Kindergarten is under way right now as I sit here and type this (watching the clock, just biding my time until I can go get him) My baby is obviously not a baby anymore, he is growing into an amazing little BOY right before my eyes and it is so hard to believe how fast the time has gone. I am so lucky though because I was blessed with "a lover". My little lover boy will still tell me he loves me in front of other people, he will still hold my hand, and hug me and kiss me, cuddle me and lay on my lap. I know that wont last forever but for now I just eat it up. I am so proud of who he is becoming. Grant truly is my very best friend! Before school today I made him let me do a little photo shoot! I am NOT a professional photographer, but he sure is a cute subject to take pictures of!
