Pumpkin Carving 2010

I LOVE LOVE LOVE family traditions! And this is one of my favorites! Carving pumpkins is just good messy fun! Thank you to my mommy and daddy for making Holidays so special for ME and MY KIDS!!!

We even got Jared to help this year!

Grant drew a face on paper and then Jared carved it out for him. It turned out so cute!

There were soooo many seeds. Brock sat and picked through them all night.

Grant taking a break to play some UTES football! haha

And here are our pumpkins...Papa's, Grant's, mine, and CJ's

My poor little guy didnt feel good. What better place to be than in the arms of someone who loves you?

Grant and CJ

Crazy boy

Grant is coming up with his face to carve into his pumpkin

Papa and me cleaning out our pumpkins

He thinks he is funny! haha

There is no place Maama or Grayson would have rather been! Being in your Maama's arms while you dont feel good is the best!!!
We love you soooo much Maama!!

Grayson's first instacare visit

Friday I noticed that Grayson had been sleeping a lot more than usual and when I would try to wake him up it was impossible. He also wasnt eating great, like he usually does. As we were getting ready to go to Red Robin for Morgan's birthday I noticed that he was feeling warm so I took his temp and it was 100 degrees. Any GOOD mother would have stayed home to cuddle her little man all night, but not me because I SUCK!! So we piled in the car and stopped at Walmart on the way. I asked the pharmacist what I could give him, since he is only 6 weeks old. We got some tylenol and gave him some and we were on our way. He acted fine at dinner, but on our way home he was hot again. When we got home I got him naked and just put a lite blankie over him and he cooled right down. I also noticed that he had a lot of goop in his eye. It was pretty gross. With the help of tylenol he slept for 6 hours and when he woke up his eye was sealed shut with all the goop it had leaked. I called my mom, because that is what I do if I am in doubt about anything. She is definitely my "Go To Girl" And she always knows just what to do. So I decided that he needed to be seen by a doctor. We took him to instacare and the doctor told us it was just a little eye infection, not really a big deal unless left untreated. So we got a Rx for eye drops that I have to give him every 4 hours and she said we needed to watch his fever really closely. If it got to 101 degrees we needed to take him straight to Primary Childrens Hospital. Thank God it never got much over 100. I am still doing the eye drops, but his eye is looking much better and he doesnt have a fever any more! I am so glad it wasnt something more serious. And my little man is feeling much better!

Pumpkin patch 2010

We went to the pumpkin patch tonight. I didnt get very good pictures, but we had a lot of fun and that is what really matters! Grayson was a stinker. I tried so hard to wake him up and he just refused. He was really tired I guess. I just love his little jacket though. We actually went to 2 different places because we were very unimpressed with the pumpkins at the first place. Found MUCH better pumpkins at the second place. I love this time of year, because of all these fun activities! Cant wait to carve our pumpkins this weekend with Maama and Papa.

My boys

How stinking LUCKY am I???

I am so grateful to have these boys in my life!!!

Thriller

Last Thursday I went to see Thriller with my little brother and his girlfriend! It was a lot of fun! When Brock and I get together we can get a little crazy sometimes! But we always have a good time!
Not really sure what is going on in this picture. HAHA We went to Training Table for dinner and then went over to Shopco to get treats before the show!

Some people are weird and like to take random pictures of themselves. This is one of them!

BJ and CJ waiting for the show to start!

Me and my BJ waiting for the show to start!

I wasnt as impressed with the show this year as I was last year. Some parts were really lacking and some parts were awesome! The ghostbuster guy in the middle was amazing! And the short little guy on the far right was amazing too!

BJ and CJ with one of the Thriller girls! I think Brock was a little embarassed to get his picture taken with her! Or maybe he was just scared. HAHA

All in all I had a great night and had tons of fun! It was so good to get out of the house and laugh and have a good time, and not have to worry about my sweet boys, who were home with daddy.

Cornbellys

Thanks to my wonderful mommy, who watched Grayson for me yesterday, I was able to go on a fieldtrip with Grant and his class to Thanksgiving Point. We went to Cornbellys and although it was crazy chaos and a lot of anxiety to keep track of all the kids, we had a lot of fun too! I was so worried I was going to lose one of these children that arent my own. Some of them wouldnt listen and wouldnt stay with me. But I started out with 5 kids in my group and I left with 5 kids at the end so all ended well I guess. No lost children, at least not from my group! Here are some pictures of some of the fun things we did!

This is most of Grant's class!

The slides were a lot of fun! (tons of anxiety here)

Hayride (kinda boring for these kids, but I enjoyed it)

Grant and some of his buddies at the top of the hay mountain

Duck races were fun. Grant was so cute, just standing there forever watching everyone else while waiting his turn. (all the other kids whining and complaining about when they would get a turn)

This is my group of little monsters in front of the tower of jack o lanterns

Naughty rule breakers (all but my own of course)

Poor Grant is one of the shortest kids in his class (also one of the youngest and one of the smartest, and I know he has the biggest heart too)

Jumping on the bouncy pillows (his fave part)

In the corn maze he got scared that we would never find our way out. Luckily we followed Mrs. Wilkins through the corn, off the path, to the exit of the opposite maze we went into. LOL It was an adventure!

Chicken puppet show. Notice my little stud surrounded by the girls!

Picking out a pumpkin to take home!

I was so glad to be able to spend some time with Grant and have this fun adventure together! If you cant tell I am deffinitely a little biased, but I think my Grant is the best ever! I love him so much!!!

Thanks for watching Little G for us Maama!
