I'M PREGNANT!!!!

 

This is so surreal for me to be posting about being pregnant. It was so shocking to see the little positive line show up on the test and at first I didnt beleive it. We have waited so long for this and we are so thrilled!

Thursday morning I have an appointment for an early ultrasound. When I went to see the fertility specialist a couple months ago he was concerned that my tubes might be blocked, so they want to make sure that this is not an ectopic pregnancy. I am trying not to worry about it too much. I think everything is fine, but better safe than sorry.

I have been keeping track of everything and writing every detail down the past few monnths, so I know that we conceived on January 9th. According to the "all knowing internet"

If I conceived on Saturday January 9th 2010 then my due date is Saturday October 2nd 2010.

17 days have passed since the conception, and I have 249 days before my due date. I am 4 weeks and 3 days into my pregnancy,and have 36 weeks to go.

Here is a picture of what our baby looks like at this point. Grant thinks this is so creepy looking and doesnt quite understand why his baby brother or sister looks so much like an alien!

There have been some changes that I have noticed lately. I havent had any morning sickness, which is awesome and I am thankful for that but I have had some really bad, horrible headaches. I did check with the doctor and it is safe for me to take Tylenol and Tylenol PM. I really try not to take it very often, and even when I do take it the headaches dont go away they just subside a little.

The other thing is that I am already having cravings. Like I said in my last post I have been craving OJ. I have also been craving Bajio and Hot Tamales! Yum!

The other thing I have noticed is I am so tired by the end of the day. I have started going to bed when Grant does, even if I lay there and watch TV for a little bit. I wake up pretty bright and cheery in the morning but by mid afternoon I am dog tired! LOL
