Grant at 6 years old

As I have said before, when I write on my blog it is because I want to remember specific things and I want to be able to look back on them and recall as much as possible. As an added bonus it is nice that some of these memories and moments I can share with family and friends.
I want to rememer my little boy just as he is today, and I never want to ever forget the way I am feeling right now.  Here are some of the basics.
Grant is 6 years 2 1/2 months.
He LOVES the color red.
He loves mac n cheese, hamburgers, steak, and ribs. He is definitely a carnivor.
His best friend right now is mommy, but if you ask him he will tell you it is Brandon.
His favorite show by far is Spongebob, although I do try to discourage it.
He loves super heroes, spiderman, batman, ironman, transformers, and Xmen.
He LOVES sports of any kind, but especially football.
He loves the Utes, Jazz, Yankees, and Redskins.
He is so into music right now, and loves C'Spine and Nickleback.
For some reason his favorite animal is a cheetah, but he likes elephants too.
He has recently learned to tie his shoes and has started brushing his teeth all by himself!!
Grant is so cuddly and lovey and he is a huge mommy's boy. He is so incredibly sweet, he tells me all the time how much he loves me and that I am the best mommy ever. I just eat it up. Nothing brings me more joy then my little boy. Grant is so excited to be a big brother. It is so sweet. He will tell me at least 2-3 times a day that he wants Grayson to be here now. He talks to Grayson and he will hug and kiss my belly. He will sing to him and when he is kicking me he will tell him to be nice. Grant is getting ready to go into first grade, and he is very nervous. New situations give him some anxiety and he can be quite a worrier. He is worried about meeting new kids and his new teacher. He is also worried about forgetting where his classroom is. I reassure him as much as possible but he still worries, a lot like his mom. The thing about Grant is that once he gets comfortable, he will jump right in with both feet. Once he gets used to a situation he is very friendly and out-going. Once he comes out of his cocoon he is a little social butterfly.
I am so incredibly blessed to have this amazing little boy to call my own. I trully feel he is a PERFECT match for me. I love him more than life itself. He is my very special little angel.
