So we were at a store today and we were at the checkstand. There was a mother with two little girls behind us. The girls looked like they were probably 2 and 4. The 2 year old says Mom I thirsty. So the mom goes to the drink cooler that is right there next to her and gets out a Pepsi. And I am thinking she is not really going to give her 2 year old a drink of that Pepsi (I was mortified) So then the 4 year wants a drink and the mom gets her her own DR.PEPPER! I mean come on people? Really? Anyway this whole time Grant is standing there watching this all play out and he turns to me and very loudly and also very concerned he says Oh my gosh Mom! Those little children are drinking soda, and their mommy is letting them do it! I thought it was hillarious that he was so concerned and that she actually heard him say that. But she didnt think it was so funny and I got a really nasty look.
My little man knows that I dont like him to drink soda and I have explained to him why and I do think that he actually understands my reasoning. She may not have been too amused by his reaction but I on the other hand was proud of him! (and I thought it was way funny)

Good job Grant and Mommy! He is like a intermountainLiVe.org commerical!
haha that is too funny I totally agree children DO NOT need to be drinking soda Talon always comes over and asks for it and throws a fit when I refuse...way to go!!!
I don't drink it and Lily has never had any....un less someone has given her some with out my knowledge. After not drinking it for as long as I have one taste seems like straight corn/sugar syrup rotting my teeth as it goes down my throat...not a favorite feeling.
