First real bath

After Grayson's umbilical cord fell off I gave him his first real bath at home. He seemed like he enjoyed the bath. He just chilled and let me wash him, but he did not like it when I washed his face. It was hard to get good pictures, because I was bathing him by myself and he was very slippery and wiggly. I didnt want him to drown just cause I wanted to get a good picture.

Here he is not crying, he is sneezing. lol

Rolling over??

When Grayson was 5 days old he rolled over. I thought it was a total fluke, because seriously newborn babies do not roll over on purpose. In our house we believe tummy time is very important so we started putting him on the floor for tummy time immediately and he seems to like it. But when he decides he is done with tummy time, he gets angry and gets a little fussy and he will just roll himself right over onto his back, and then he is happy as a clam. He is now 11 days old and he has rolled over several times. I am pretty sure he knows exactly what he is doing. Really.. what newborn baby does that? I wish I had this on tape but our camcorder somehow got "misplaced" so I tried to capture it in photos.

I do plan on writing about my birth experience as soon as I have a minute to sit down and take the time to write it out in full. I'll tell you one thing though, it was the hardest and most rewarding thing I have ever done.
