Long blog and lots of pictures

I know I haven't been very good at updating my blog for a while now, partly because I am on FB a lot and partly because I have just not been doing well lately. I am not going to write a bunch but here are some fun pictures of things we have been doing lately (when I feel well enough and have enough energy to get out of the house)We took Grant to Boondock's one night and we all had a lot of fun! Here are Grant and daddy in line for the go carts!Grant loved the go carts! Here are Grant and mommy in line for the bumper boats!I am telling Grant to try to squirt daddy!Even though he love the go carts he loved the bumper boats even more. And so did I. It was nice to cool down.Today I actually had a little energy so I decided to pack up a lunch and take the kids to the Discovery Garden at Thanksgiving Point. We sat on the grass and had a picnic under a tree!We played in the water for a little bit! Dax did not like it!Here are my cute boys!I was so afraid that Dax's head was going to get burnt because his hair is so thin, so I sprayed a bunch of sunscreen in his hair. You cant see it in the picture very well.My boys by a waterfall!Dax kept saying "WOW" he loved all the waterfalls!
DID YOU KNOW... THANKSGIVING POINT HAS THE LARGEST MANMADE WATERFALL IN NORTH AMERICA??? Well I have seen that commercial many times and I never really thought anything of it, but I am telling you, if you haven't seen the falls at Thanksgiving Point you are really missing out. They are AMAZING!!! I want to go back during every season just to see how amazing they are at different times of the year. It's not just the falls that are so amazing, it's everything around you. If you do go and you have never been before you have to walk up over the falls, the experience tantalizes all your senses, You can see and smell all the beautiful fragrant flowers and hear the falls with the beautiful sound of the birds chirping. You can feel the sun beating down on you with the cool mist of the water spray. It truly is awesome.Dax is so sillyWe had a lot of fun!

Sara and Jon got hitched!

On Friday we had the pleasure of attending Sara and Jon's wedding. It was a beautiful backyard wedding. Sara's colors were orange and pink and she looked amazing! She had her daddy and her sweet little boy Oliver walk her down the aisle.
Here is the happy couple just after saying their I DO's
Here are my cute boys.
Ollie was so cute in his little orange tie. He ran around barefoot dragging his blankie behind him. Silly little boy!
Here is the back of Sara's dress and I love the way she incorporated the orange.
Sara and Jon know how to throw a party so for food at the wedding they fired up the grills and we enjoyed a fabulous summer BBQ.
It was a lot of fun and I am so happy for them! Though they have been a family for awhile, now it is "official"

Preschool grad!

Grant had his preschool graduation last night and I must say, I think he looked pretty darn handsome! Here he is posing for mommy!
Daddy and his little "mini me"
I walked to the back room where all the kids were getting ready, to see if I could get a couple pictures. Grant and Lily were of course holding hands!
And she was giving him a little pep talk, telling him not to be nervous and to stand up strait and smile big. How cute!
There's my little man!
Receiving his diploma from Miss Maria!
Cutest little grad I've ever seen!
Thank you to Maama & Papa and Grandpa Craig & Christine for making it to support Grant. I know it was hectic, and hard for you all to make it because there were other important things going on. It really means so much to all of us that you were able to take the time to share this special night with us. Grant is so lucky to have so many people that love him so much!

Addiction and makeover loves

I have recently come to the realization that I am addicted to paper. I am wondering if they have PCA (paper collectors anonymous) meeting that I can attend??? If you know of any hook me up. I never realized it I guess because I never had it organized. It was always some here and some there. Well now that I am organizing all of it I just keep finding more and more and more and more. I mean THOUSANDS of pieces of paper. It is not just paper though, it is anything that has to do with scrapbooking. Paper, adhesive, stickers, you name it, I collect it. I say collect because 90% of it I dont use and probably never will. (DONT TELL JARED PLEASE) LOL
So everybody has seen the wall, the carpet, and the cabinets, which was all provided to me through the contest that I won. But I decided to show you all some of the fun things that I have added to the room myself and that I really love!
One of my very favorite things is actually very simple. Grant loves to scrapbook with me, so he has his very own drawer full of paper he picks out at the scrapbook store along with stickers, photos, his own scissors and adhesive. I love it because it really just represents the time we spend together making memories while scrapbooking our memories. Whenever I have extra photos I just toss them in his drawer and he LOVES it!O the wall it says follow your heart!Of course being a scrapbooker I love photos so there will be lots on the walls! This is just a rub on and I love it! I just put it right on the frame and it says, "Im no momma's boy, but boy do I love my mom!" I love that! So cute! This is something I love as well. I found it at IKEA. I love that store. In the pails are all my pens and markers, in the cute little jars are brads and buttons sorted by color, and hanging on hooks are scissors, all right in reach! I also embellished the frame, it says "you and me" and it is a picture of Jared and I on our wedding day with our wedding party.
That is all for now, but I promise there is more to come! Let me know if you want to come see my new room!

YAY for cabinets!

Here they are!!!! Mountain Crest did my cabinets and I love them! They were worth the wait! Jared's brother Cody and Brother in law Jared both work for Mountain Crest. Cody actually came to install them!So here he is carrying in a drawer! Here is Grant watching Uncle Cody install them! Here is a picture of the opposite side of the room. It says "follow you heart" on the wall! And it is really messy still because I havent even moved in half of all my crap. I dont just want to move it all in, I am organizing it all as I go.And here are the cabinets! Like I said I LOVE them!

As soon as the room is complete, if you want to come over and see it or come over and scrapbook with me I would love the company!!! YAY!!!

Yay for carpet!

Here it is, the room with the new carpet. I love it!
I am starting to move a few things in to the closet. Even though we ordered the cabinets several weeks ago that is the only thing we are waiting on. The wall opposite from the closet will be wall to wall custom cabinets and I am so anxious to get them in! Hopefully it will be very soon!
